“The beauty and effectiveness of Chinese Medicine has become the inspiration of my life…”
…it is centered around the idea of balance; Yin and Yang. This concept represents the balance of energy in our body, mind, and spirit and determines our overall health. When we are out of balance we experience pathology or dis-ease. Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) facilitate restoring this balance within the body, helping us to live at our fullest potential.
My desire is to help you embrace and live life as fully as possible.
Through working with my patients I have seen the impressive results that Acupuncture and Chinese medicine can have. I am grateful to be able to share the benefits of my extensive education with you. My degree of Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine comes from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine ranked the #1 OM graduate degree program in the country in 2018 and many years prior. During the course of the 4-year full time program I completed over 1000 patient hours, more than 300 unique patient visits and several on and off-campus externships with experienced practitioners.
I also practiced independently and full-time in Portland at Wildwood Acupuncture, as well as in the Canby and Wilsonville areas since 2017 before joining Healing Touch. Please visit and review the detailed information about TCM and my approach available here. Also my BLOG is available for even more practical tips.
My background includes specific and additional training in Acupuncture and a wide array of Oriental medicine modalities including Shiatsu (Japanese energetic massage), Shonishin (Japanese pediatrics), nutrition, and meditation. I am licensed by the state of Oregon and also recognized and in good standing with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a diplomat of Acupuncture.
Compassionately listening, understanding and treating your unique health issues is of the utmost importance to me. I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding how Acupuncture and TCM can benefit you. Together we can work toward achieving your health and wellness goals.
“Andrew’s soothing demeanor and charisma gracefully complement his love of helping people through his continued understanding of this ancient practice.” -Parker M.
I was raised in the Pacific Northwest and after a decade of traveling and living across the country returned home to my favorite place in the world in order to learn and practice this medicine. Outside of the clinic I enjoy teaching and performing on the violin, cooking, and adventuring throughout the beautiful Pacific NW with my wife, and 2 kiddos.
